Today on Drudge is an article about father of Navy SEAL killed in a massive screwed-up operation in Yeman on Jan 26 REFUSED to meet with President Trump.
I think Mr Bill Owens has a made a very good point - why did new President Trump allow this operation to go ahead given much of what he said on the Campaign. This will hopefully allow some retrospection by the Administration.
I send my condolences to this man and his familiy over their son's death - which probablly should not have happened - however NEVER believe that Military Operations can take place with the risk of loss of life.

Proust: Rembrance of Things Past
National Post article by odd Tristan Hopper reported that a Laval University prof and specialist has discovered early and only known film footage of revered French Belle Epoque essayist Marcel Proust from 1901 (he died in 1922). Proust of course penned "À la recherche du temps perdu" (aka in english "Remembrance of Things Past").
